Dual Battery system
In vehicles fitted with multiple accessories with heavy power requirements such as fridges, a dual battery system utilising a secondary deep cycle battery is recommended. Dual battery systems allow you to run a dedicated starting battery in conjunction with a secondary Deep Cycle battery. This allows the starting battery to be used for cranking the engine, and the Deep Cycle battery to power high-current draw accessories (like fridges) without compromising the performance of the starting battery.
